Pennsylvania’s Need for Nurse Practitioners Just Got Greater.  

In January 2015, an additional 500,000 Pennsylvanians became eligible for Medicaid coverage through the Healthy PA program.  With the shortage of Primary Care Physicians available, Nurse Practitioners such as those affiliated with HOPE Extended Care are part of the solution.  Recently the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported on legislative measures endorsed by the PA Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.
